Londonderry Probus Club

Welcome to the website of the Londonderry Probus Club for retired professional and business men,
one of over 1500 such clubs in the UK and 136 clubs in All-Ireland

The Probus movement started in the 1960's and grew out of the Rotary Club organization.
The title PROBUS was derived from the words PROfessional and BUSiness.
The Londonderry Club was formed on 12th June 1978, in the former Northern Counties Club, and is for men who have retired or who are semi-retired from a profession or business occupation. We aim to promote friendship and fellowship amongst members, and to arrange activities for their mutual benefit. Many professions are represented by our membership which includes a very diverse range of  careers, occupations and vocations such as teachers, solicitors, accountants, managers, clergymen, etc.
