After refreshments at the Cafe Soul we proceeded to the Guildhall and were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor, Alderman Thomas Kerrigan after which we enjoyed a conducted tour of the building.  We then walked along the historic City Walls to our next stop, St. Columb's Cathedral where we were welcomed by the Dean, Very Rev'd William W Morton who gave a beautiful rendition of "The Londonderry Air" on the cathedral's magnificent organ. Our day concluded with lunch in the recently opened Bishop's Gate Hotel which was the very building in which the Londonderry Probus Club held it's first meetings in 1978 when it was then known as the Northern Counties Club.
