A very interesting morning was spent visiting the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Road and Armed Support Unit, Maydown, Co. Londonderry. Here we heard about the measures being taken to protect road users and reduce accidents and we had the opportunity to inspect the equipment used in speed detection. A very impressive talk and demonstration of water cannon was also given. |
