Brian Gault is one of the 455 survivors of ‘miracle drug’ Thalidomide brought on to the British market during the early 1960’s prescribed for morning sickness during pregnancy. To the shock of his parents, he was born with no arms.

Brian, originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, became a Christian at the age of 13 and has lived on the beautiful Isle of Man for over 30 years. He is “over the moon” at the overwhelming response to his book. He married his “wee treasure” May, on 25th August 2000.

Brian has written his autobiography “Look, No Hands!”, published in 2000, after being deeply moved by a television programme in 1993 about Thalidomide children who are still being born in Brazil. The royalties from this book will help to provide practical support for children, like Brian, who are born with Thalidomide-related disabilities in Brazil and other children around the world with similar disabilities.

Brian and May are thrilled and encouraged by the opportunities to speak at a wide range of churches, ladies meetings, disability groups, schools, youth meetings, senior citizen events, etc. as they travel throughout the British Isles and Overseas.
