The Amalgamation of 2nd Derry (Strand) & Buncrana with Carlisle Road took place. Due to severe weather, the Church heating system was damaged and services had to be held in the Lecture Hall.  There were a number of burst pipes and other damage was done to ceilings and plasterwork in the Church and Halls.
