Great  website fanx for all memories - just wondering if anyone remembers  my grandfather who was a superintedent of SS back in the  50s His name was Wolff Schmidtt originally from Bremen, but he  moved a lot. The pics bring back fond memories of the old days  in the mountains.

Hi. I live in Carlisle England and was  looking up Churches in our area and your web site came up. As I  was from Lisburn originally I looked at it and all the variouds  pages. While I knew that my maternal Grandfather had been a  minister ion Londonderry I was unsure of where he ministered.  What a lovely surprise to find that he was your minister from  1919 -1927, the Rev David Hay. It was great to read about  him and I can tell you that one of his children, Martha my  mother, is still alive at 94 and living in Newcastle Co Down.  Yours in Jesus, Ron McNeill

Greetings from Australia, I have today found  your interesting and helpful website, while undertaking  some exploratory family history research of various Derry  sites. My Grt Grandfather, who migrated from Glasgow in 1854,  was an elder of the Presbyterian Church of Australia - of  which my wife and I are members in Port Stephens NSW. With warm  Christian greetings, Yours in Christ, Keith A  Ferguson

Of course we remember you. Nearly all of the  family. Ann, Trevor, John, you, Harry, Robyn, Adrian. I am  still with Carlisle Road, still singing in the choir with Ursula.  We keep threatening you quit but guess well stay on till  pension kicks in. Do you remember the Feis and the concerts we used  to do for Ethel?? Now our highlight is the Annual Meetings  and we only have about 20 of an audience. Ursula and I must  have about 100 years between us. Must be some kind of a  record. I know you are in Canada - hope you are well. Best  wishes. Marilyn

I am a Carlisle descendent, and my  information traces us back to Carlisle, England and Londonderry. My  mother was a Carlisle, from Spartanburg, SC in USA. I loved your  website, Im a Christian and a musicician, so the music was  uplifting, and praise God. I am coming for a visit to South/West  Ireland in Oct. but may one day visit N. Ireland and find my  roots. In 1613 Carlisles came from England to Londonderry, and  later settled in Ballymena. William Carlisle and wife  Margaret Kerrs son, James Carlisle and his family sailed to  Charleston, SC on the ship Jane Grey from Belfast in 1818. I would like  to have any family history you might know. Thank you and God  bless you in your work. Nancy Brown

When  Jews were outnumbered in "Palestine" before there was a state of  Israel, Arabs rioted and killed Jews. Arab expelled Jews from  towns in Palestine by the Turks before WWI and the Arabs went  on a killing again. Its to say The wolf has been there for  a long time. Jews are well acquainted with this age-old  phenomenon of neighbors trying to kill them also about the kind of  boycot like the Presbyterian Church has already  declared.

Thanks for this site it a great joy in the  Lord to find someone who has the same beliefs in the Lord in  Ireland. I live in the USA and attend the Presbyterian PCA Church  in Ellerbe, NC. There is an Irish pastor that pastors an Presbyterian PCA Church close to my home. It is a  blessing to visit the church of his flock and hear him speak on  the word of our Lord and Savior. I serve on the Deacon board in  the church I attend. We believe that God does not  distinguish between race, color, either rich or poor. He has His  elect throughout the world in His church. May God bless and  guide your ministry through the internet. Sincerely, a  brother in The Lord. William Edward Paul
